Domain West Hollywood: Best Neighborhood Bars
Life lived near Santa Monica Boulevard means that you never run out of food to grub or cocktails to guzzle. You have everything within walking distance from Domain West Hollywood, and there’s something here for everyone. So, when you’re not hanging at the best apartments in West Hollywood, Domain WeHo is here to dish the goods on where to spend your time and sip your …whatever in style.
The Doheny Room
9077 Santa Monica Blvd
Why we love it: Ok. Ok. So, we’ve already plugged this place in an earlier blog (Brunch like Domain WeHo does). But, this place is so fabulous, we had to tout it twice. How did we brunch on Sundays in West Hollywood before the Doheny Room?
When to go: See above description.
What to drink: Anything from the brunch cocktail menu. Our personal favorites are the There will be Bloodys and the High Window.
The Surly Goat
7929 Santa Monica Blvd
Why we love it: There are enough taps (27 to be exact) in this hidden West Hollywood gem to keep you coming back week after week to try something new.
When to go: Any day that ends in Y.
What to drink: Close your eyes and point – it’s all worth a try.
8267 Santa Monica Blvd
Why we love it: Everyone should have that one tried-and-true sushi spot on speed dial. And if you’re new to the area and in the search – this is the one. At Domain West Hollywood, we value consistency. And here, the tiger roll i just as good in pick up as it is when you dine-in so your solo weekends with Netflix and takeout are covered.
When to go: We live by the mantra that there’s no better time for Sushi then right now. And Echi Sushi goes perfectly with Saturday night and your crew.
What to drink: Two words: Sake Bombs.
8905 Melrose Ave
Why we love it: A plant-based Mexican restaurant is not like a unicorn. It really does exist, and it’s smack dab in the heart of West Hollywood. When Domain WeHo says favorite Mexican, this is hands-down on our list.
When to go: Tuesday. This upcoming and next.
What to drink: A pitcher of the Purista on date night with your babe. Trust us.
7141 Santa Monica Blvd
Why we love it: We may be biased, but we think few things can rival overlooking West Hollywood with craft cocktail in hand and the Hollywood Sign as your backdrop. Don’t believe us? Come take a look.
When to go: Morning, noon or night. We won’t judge.
What to drink: We’re old fashioned. So, that’ll do.
